For the first three Sacraments please complete the corresponding form in full. Your requested date(s) are not fixed until you receive confirmation of availability from the requested Church. Once the form(s) have been submitted you will be contacted in accordance with your request.

If you wish the name(s) of your deceased to be mentioned in the Sunday Bulletins for the ‘Memorial Service’, the names should be passed on before Thursday of each week.

Մկրտութիւն եւ Կնունք / Baptism & Confirmation

Please read the note below in full:
1. Contact the priest in charge or the Church office if you wish to Baptise your child. To secure a date for your child’s baptism give at least six(6) weeks notice. Baptism can be performed every day of the week throughout the year.

2. The form below concerning the data to be entered into the baptismal record must be filled and provided to the Priest in charge on the basis of which the Certificate of Baptism will be issued. Make sure all the details requested are provided accurately and fully.

3. The godfather of the child must be baptised and raised in the Armenian Church. If the god father is not baptised in the Armenian Church, there may be the need to either baptise him or complete the ceremony according to the Armenian Church tradition.

4. There should be as least one meeting with the Priest in charge, with the mother of the child and the godfather, prior to the baptismal service.

5. In the Armenian Church the godmother has no role.

6. At least one of the parents of the child must be a current due paying members of St Yeghiche Parish Church.

7. The official Certificates of Baptism will be posted to YourHome address,signed and sealed. You must keep it safe and secure.

The Church service performed in the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church is according to the rite and practice of the Armenian Church

1. The Church requests that at least a three(3)month notice be provided prior to the desired wedding date. In fairness to your guests and the church staff, the wedding ceremony must begin promptly at the time you have scheduled with the church. Please keep this in mind when choosing the time of your service.

2. The date of the wedding must not be fixed without first ascertaining the availability of the church from the Pastor or church office

3. Prior to the wedding, the future bride and groom must seek appointment with the Pastor to receive instruction regarding the service, roles, responsibilities and requirements. This can be done by contacting the Pastor or the Church office.

4. The future bride and groom must attend Divine Liturgy on the Sunday before the date of wedding to receive Holy Communion. A wedding rehearsal will be conducted if desired on the same day

5. Fees for the wedding service must be paid to the Church office prior to the scheduled date of marriage. The marriage license, obtained from the General Register Office, must be presented to the Pastor or the Church office prior to the wedding.

6. Note: The Bride and groom must be a current dues paying member of the Parish Church of Saint Yeghiche, Cranley Gardens.SW7 3BB.Tel. 020 7 371-6447.

The Bride and the groom must be members of the Armenian Orthodox Church through Baptism. If any one of them not a member of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church, He or She must seek Baptism according to the rite of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church.
