YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 17, ARMENPRESS:
The Armenian National Committee of Great Britain will publish the book on the Armenian Genocide written by the Advisor to the Queen of the Great Britain, Professor Geoffrey Robertson, where he criticizes the denial policy of Great Britain. The Head of the Armenian National Committee of Great Britain Sevan Artin told Armenpress that the book “Was there an Armenian Genocide?” will be ready in April 2014. “The Armenian National Committee of Great Britain has its programs, among which is the publication of the 300-page book about the Armenian Genocide written by the British lawyer, the international expert for human rights protection. The book clearly states that the Armenian Genocide did take place and criticizes in particular the position of England in that issue”, – said Sevan Artin.
The Head of the Armenian National Committee of Great Britain highlighted the pro-Armenian orientation of Geoffrey Robertson, especially when he is a member of the Queen’s special advisors’ group. “We will hold the presentation of the book. Mr. Robertson will have a speech and explain the members of the Parliament that the Armenian Genocide really took place and that the British state denies its recognition”, – noted Sevan Artin.
