An Introduction to Half Masks
Come and spend an afternoon playing fun theatre games,learning to use your voice and body in unusual ways, messing around with masks and creating some weird and wonderful characters! No experience of using masks before is necessary, just a willingness to have a go!
Jonny has been making masks and performing in them for over 17 years. He trained at the Lecoq mime school in Paris and has toured all over the world. He tours his own shows and other people’s too. He has performed in award winning mask shows in Iran, opera in Texas and puppetry in Norway!
We plan to use techniqueslearned with Jonny in future AI story telling and theatre productions of Armenian tales but this workshop is a "stand--alone" event. Come and enjoy learning from professional actor and puppeteer for an afternoon.
