"DNORHNEK" Home Blessing for
Every Armenian Family It is customary to have our homes blessed by a priest, especially during the
first 40 days after Sourp Dzenount. It is a beautiful ceremony through which we bring the presence of our Lord into the heart of our own home for protection, happiness and prosperity.
To
request a 'Dnorhnek' please contact the ACCC's Church Wardens at St Yeghiche Church or the ACCC's Community Parish Priest, Fr. Shnork Baghdassarian : Telephone Vicarage: 020 7937 0152 or
Mobile 07703 008 499 or E-mail: shnork@ukonline.co.uk |

"BLUE BOOK" - information The publication commonly referred to as the "Blue Book" is not an "Armenian" or a privately produced
commercial publication. It is an Official Publication of the British Parliament, commonly known as "Blue Book" because of the blue
paper or cover traditionally used in the printing of these official documents.
The "Blue Book" in connection with the Armenian Genocide is the Parliamentary Publication prepared by
Viscount Bryce and Arnold Toynbee in 1916 and presented to the House of Lords.
The Document is officially entitled "The Treatment of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire 1915-16 :
Documents Presented to Viscount Grey of Fallodon by Viscount Bryce" (The initial publication for public release was 'censored' by mainly removing names of some witnesses in
Turkey who were still alive in 1916 so as to protect their identities since they may have been put in mortal danger if their identities had been divulged at that time)
